Review a book/website & you could win a $25 amazon gift certificate!

One of the features of HomeschoolRecess.com is that it allows homeschooling parents to sharetheir opionos of their favorite (and least favorite) books and websites.  To encourage you all to check it out, we're having a review contest.  The best review will win a $25 Amazon gift certificate.  Here are the rules:

• All reviews of books or websites submitted by July 15th 2009 are eligible to win.  The winner will be announced and notified via email by July 20th.
• Enter as often as you like.
• If you are affiliated in any way with the book or website which you review, or are receiving compensation for the review, you must state it clearly in your review.
• HomeschoolRecess.com's owner and her family are not eligible to win (darn it! ).

Judging:

The reviews will be judged for clarity and usefulness to homeschooling parents.  A useful review includes a brief description of the product, a supported opinion of the product, and clearly states who you think might not or might not enjoy the product.  Reviews of books and websites that have broad appeal among homeschooling parents will be considered more useful than those geared towards a smaller audience.  Reviews do not have to be long to be useful- short & sweet is good!  The decision of the judges is final.

How to enter:

1. If you aren't a member of HomeschoolRecess.com, you must register-- it's easy, quick, and free.
2. Search for the book/website you'd like to review on our community bookshelf.  If you find it, go to the book or website's page and click on "review this" and type your review in the window. 
3. If the book or website you'd like to review isn't on the site, add the book or website.  To add a book, you will need the book's ISBN-- this can be found in the book opposite the title page, or on the book's page on Amazon.com.    To add a website, you will need the website's URL (beginning with http://).  Once you've added the product you'd like to review, click on "review this" and add your review.
